The rate of growth will amaze you. GrowSpots can be placed very close to your plants or even under the plant canopy for those areas in your garden needing extra light.. You can't do that with an HPS or halide grow light. GrowSpots fit into any standard light socket making them extremely versatile and easy to use. We reengineered the new GrowSpot from the ground up. Our approach to thermal management enabled us to remove the internal fan that the previous GrowSpot had. This means the new GrowSpot now uses 3 watts less power than the original model yet produces more light. GrowSpots promote fast, vigorous growth and are completely safe for you, your plants and the environment. They do not contain harmful metals or gasses like fluorsescent, HPS and halide bulbs. Emitting only pure light for plants, GrowSpots are safe to the human eye. There is no infared or UV light making them perfectly safe for the home or classroom. Despite its small size the GrowSpot packs a big punch and can cover an area up to 4 square feet. The GrowSpot is a direct replacement for a 150w HPS, MH or T5 bulb.
